Description

In the Kusatsu area, pottery has already been made since the 7th century. This area used to be at the bottom of the lake in ancient times. Therefore, the clay taken from this land contains a rich iron. Kusatsu-yaki is made using this local clay. This black kyusu is also made of clay containing iron and has a beautiful black color. Perfect size for 2-3 cups. There is a built-in strainer inside, which enables tea leaves to fully expand during steeping. Use a strainer when you brew fine-grained tea, such as deep-steamed (fukamushi) tea. Tea steeped in the teapot is poured into the cup while drawing a beautiful streamlined curve. Light as 260g and it comes in very handy.

QUESTIONS

We store our inventory in two locations: Japan and the United States. This is because we currently have a large customer base in America. In the future, we plan to expand our distribution centers to other countries. For details on shipping methods and delivery charges, please click here.

We strive to deliver our products to our customers as quickly and affordably as possible by stocking them in both Japan and the United States wherever feasible. However, some of our teaware, especially those with limited stock or high popularity among customers worldwide, are only stocked in Japan.
